The idea of Youth Congress is very old it was created by Sanjay Gandhi, but some Goons were also inducted who played havok among the Public and Adminstration . Now the present approach is very fair as only well educated have chance to be inducted , He has learnt a lot from Mrs Sonia Gandhi , about strictness to maintain discipline in the party, she could find the bad elements who have been shown the out Door of the Party. There is descpline among the members now compared to BJP. Mr. rahul has to be carefull from Goons and catoriee as it was in case of his Grand Mother and Father. Againt whom lot of corruption charges were leveled ,

Youth Movement shold be used for removing Corruption , Which got in by the Blessing of Mrs Indira gandhi. reason not known , Rahul has to remove all the Beurocrats who are incompetent. being the respective Minister has little knowledge of his Ministry. It should terminate the Services of Young Corrupt Beurocrats and Senior must be prematurely retired before they do more harm to this Country.

The youth population contributes two third of India’s population.

Indian history has seen many of its youth leading political movements. Jawaharlal Nehru became leader of the Indian National Congress, and was one of the most eminent leaders in northern India at a very young age. He took his inspiration from Mohandas Gandhi, who also became politically active in his youth. Indian youth were extremely active in their country’s struggle for independence.

In 1942, the greatest youth uprising took place, mainly among students, who participated in the Quit India movement organised by leaders of the All India Congress, demanding complete independence from Britain.

The present political scene is individuals over 55 and 60 are in power who have nothing to offer and are incapable of ruling a big nation. As Rahul aspires, the country has to be led by the youth to make it strong, advanced in technology and are able to stand in line with other advancing nations.

We are currently on the verge of sending youth members to Parliament which is just a token of our representation. The real change can happen only when political movements or parties in power have prepotently dynamic youth oriented perspective as Rahul wishes.

I am agree with you Mr. Sukhbahar that people in Rahul’s youth team are due to their families. To strengthen democracy these youths are being promoted from the grass-root level. Because till date, only those young faces are being promoted who belong to political dynasties. The unsung and low-profile youth are still marginalised in Indian politics.

I think Talent Hunt drive by Rahul Gandhi is more beneficial in this direction.

I do agree that there are talents but they dont want to Join Politics, as Stigma Attached to it, but Rahul Approach to induct fron Uttara kand after selecting, with Talent Hunt drive which is more beneficial , and it may give result. We should not expect much from the Young Politicians of the ministry as they have occupied seat in liu of their Parents.

What is this talent hunt program? I can’t agree to such a foolish way of electing the leadership. Congress claims to be a democratic party but is it the internal democracy of Congress that leaders are elected with the consent of high command and not by their talent.
