Whatever Varun has told is unfortunate, but whatever happened after that is more unfortunate.

I am unable to understand our politics and their double standard. If Muslim league or SIMI would have not been taken as secular speech. But comments of Varun Gandhi, candidate of BJP, is taken as communal.

In democracy everyone has right to say. It means everyone even majorities also. We should not debate on this matter and should leave this topic for politicians, so they can earn some votes on that.

now a days these politicians are using religions for there votes. Ok if anythg wrong happens between any religion n hindu will he really come to save us. all these politicians knows to play with sentiments of Indian whether its varun gandhi, lallo prasad yadav, amar singh, raj thacarey or anyone else. they are doing all these for vote bank. during festivals hindu muslims are bhai bhai, they help each other but when any politicians says anything in favour of 1 religion then that bhaichar turns into enimity. Why we Indians forget that now we are educated people? why we still dont use our brain? why we get influenced by thse dirty mind? why we forget when we are born we are 1st human being after that we come 2 know we belong to this language/caste/religion,etc.

Only law will not be sufficient to deal with such people. Through law we can only penalize the culprits spreading the hatred among the communities.We have to cure the causes of disease. We have to isolate the people and parties spreading the communal thoughts.

Hate speeches have become common in politics. Line dividing between aggressive talking and hate speech is thin. But going by comparison with what many politicians have been uttering in hatred against religions and castes, Varun should only be included in the ‘aggressive” category and not in hate propaganda.

Hate speeches are only going to make situation volatile. Political parties should desist from these. Our politicians should show maturity and not field candidates who are hell bent upon igniting the country. It is immaterial whether the candidate belongs to the minority or the majority community.

My dear friend it is very natural that number of people like you will start teaching classes on Hate speaches as you are a Muslim and living in a nation where being Muslim means minority and being member of minority class you are free to speak any thing . In parliament during Amar nath temple dispute , Abdula and other Muslim leaders said , they are fighting for their land Hindues are alians for that land also Mufti and party coated the same but at that time no nationalist raised the voice . you are free to speak not because you are Muslim but because Hindues ARE in majority. In Kashmir Muslims have looted lands and housesof Hindues but no body is coming for their assistence. Three young boys were killed in Meeruth U P in monthMay08, no humanist came forward to supprt the desiesded families. Yes all Hindu leaders require Punishment because they are not loyel even to their voters and followers.

yes you are right! I’ve seen the parliament session when there was an Amarnath temple dispute and I have also read about the three Hindu boys killed Meeruth...but does that mean we should start doing the same. Does that mean we should push nation on the 1947 lines to see nation partitioned yet again. we can’t afford that.

these incidents are sad and the muslims are always the making hue and cry when something wrong happens to side. On the other I wonder if they are in minority even as of now. Secondly, this is all happening bcoz of our stinking politicians who are ignoring everything for some short term benefits. So amit this is the right time to kick such politicians out of our parliament even though it is choosing the least corrupt among the corrupts.

There Are Some Black Sheeps in every religion. I am criticizing all the communal persons belonging from a Minority community or majority community. I am not supporting any one who is promoting hatred.

But I think there is along list of leaders belonging from a hindutva communal brigade. Have u forgotten the name of Narendra Modi or Praveen Togadia. Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray and his estranged nephew Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Raj Thackeray made their political careers by giving controversial speeches or writing fiery edits.Hindu leaders Ashok Singhal, Uma Bharati and Sadhvi Ritambara have also been booked for controversial speeches,
