I saw some security expert on the TV talking about ferrying teams around in armored cars with helicopter gunship escorts....
Unfortunately we see yet another case of radicalism that is going to ruin Pakistan's chances of playing in, let alone hosting the world cup. Times being as they are it seems that this muslim hatred toward 'infadels' is a growing problem both at home and abroad. The ICC need to be tough. Liverpool fans acted wrongly in Turin many years ago and England as a country had to take the fall for that, no team being allowed to compete in Europe. Cricket should take a leaf from this example, Pakistan should be banned.

Pakistan, India, Sri-Lanka, Bangladesh…none of the country is safe for the 2011 world cup. I believe that the series should be held somewhere where people should enjoy the game rather than be scared of the attacks.

All of these countries are in mess and there is no surety that the things will change in next one or two years.

I will not comment on the other countries but for India, they deserve this shame of people backing out from their land. When a country can’t protect its citizens and the visitors, then it is doomed to face the shame.
